Tiny habit update (this shit works)
As of today, I’m doing a heavy kettlebell deadlift every time I walk out of the kitchen
It’s amazing to witness how automatic this silly little habit has become over a few short days. It’s also miraculous how my desire to do more is growing of its own accord.
This whole time, the voice in my head has been shouting that this endeavor is pointless, that 10 kettlebell deadlifts spread throughout the day will accomplish literally nothing. But this morning, after my first deadlift, I wanted to do another, then another. A few times today I’ve busted out four or five in a row, while other times I’ve done my single lift.
I’m honestly a tad annoyed at how this simple little recipe is proving so fruitful. Am I really a machine?? Can I be programmed so easily?? Am I not special???
Honestly doesn’t matter though, because I’m starting to feel better in my body. I’m breaking free of the energetic funk I’ve been in over the last month. All thanks to BJ Fogg and his whole Tiny Habit schtick.
