Hey, I’m Rob Hardy.

This site is one long conversation with life as it is — not the life my fears insist I should have. I run Ungated, where I write about trust-based marketing and creative work that doesn’t require abandoning yourself.

Everything here starts as a note in Obsidian, grows in public, and is never quite finished. Essays get tended, not archived. r-041 is a decent three-word summary of the whole project.
